We are Best West.

The best ideas come from moments you least expect.

Hiking out of the Grand Canyon—tired, dusty, focused on putting one foot in front of the other. I passed a person wearing an Iowa Hawkeyes shirt. Being from the Midwest myself, I couldn't help it: "Go Hawkeyes."

He grinned. "Gotta represent the Midwest."

"Midwest is the Best West," I shot back.

We both laughed, but as I kept walking, those words stayed with me. Here we were, two Midwesterners, thousands of feet below the rim of one of the world's most iconic landscapes, and what connected us wasn't the canyon—it was home.

That's when I realized: the Midwest isn't just a place. It's an identity. It's the farmer's market on Saturday mornings. The way strangers still wave from their trucks. The pride in small-town roots and big-city dreams. It's cardinal red against fresh snow, cabin smoke curling into October air, and the quiet confidence of people who don't need to prove anything to anyone.

That's Best West Apparel. We're not here to shout about who we are. We're here to celebrate where we come from.
